Essential Question
Learning Target/Objective	I will be able to use the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse and find square and cube roots. I will be able to find areas of two-dimensional shapes.
Agenda	Warm-up Mindbender Skills Practice Chapter 7 Review--p. 328 #1-15, 18, 21 Chapter 8 Introduction (if time)
Homework	Finish the chapter 7 review--p. 328 #1-15, 18, 21 if you didn't finish in class. Study for Thursday’s test
Announcements	Test Thursday 2/22. Start studying by working on the chapter review on p. 325-327.

About Mrs. Harp

Mrs. Harp is in her third year of teaching eighth grade math at Rocky Top. Before that, she taught seventh grade math in Wisconsin for three years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor's degree in middle childhood through early adolescence and math. She is currently working to earn her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver. Mrs. Harp enjoys baking, reading, crafting, being outside, and spending time with her husband and cat.
